Biography of Hon. Sani Idris Legbo Kutigi

Hon. Mohammed Sani Idris Legbo Kutigi is a Nigerian politician and former legislator from Niger State. He previously served as a member of the House of Representatives, representing Lavun/Mokwa/Edati Federal Constituency, and has been active in Niger State politics for many years.

Sani Idris Legbo Kutigi is a member of the prominent Kutigi family of Niger State. He is the son of the late Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi, who served as Chief Justice of Nigeria from 2007 to 2009. The Kutigi family has a longstanding reputation for public service, particularly in the legal and political spheres.

Kutigi's political career became prominent when he contested for the Lavun/Mokwa/Edati Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives. He was elected in 2011 and served in the 7th National Assembly.
