About Olabisi Adebanjo (Hon.)

Biography of Hon. Olabisi Adebanjo

Hon. Olabisi Adebanjo is a Nigerian politician and member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who emerged as the party’s candidate for the Alimosho Federal Constituency in Lagos State ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.

Adebanjo gained political prominence during the APC’s 2026 primaries in Lagos, where she secured the party’s ticket to contest for the Alimosho federal seat. Her emergence attracted attention because she was the only woman among the 24 APC candidates selected for the House of Representatives constituencies in Lagos State for the 2027 election.

Before the primary election, Adebanjo was publicly identified as an APC House of Representatives aspirant for Alimosho and received support from political stakeholders in the constituency. Her campaign was part of broader political activities within the Alimosho APC structure leading up to the 2027 elections.

Her candidacy represents an effort to increase women's representation in elective positions in Lagos State and at the federal level. If elected in 2027, she would represent Alimosho Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, succeeding the current representative, Ayuba Ganiyu Adele, whose tenure began in 2023.

As of 2026, detailed publicly available information about Adebanjo's early life, education, professional career, and personal background remains limited. Her most prominent public political achievement so far is securing the APC nomination for Alimosho ahead of the 2027 general election.
