Hon. Leko Jafaru Gambo is a Nigerian politician and legislator from Bauchi State. He was born on 26 March 1976 in Bauchi and is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He currently represents the Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa Balewa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State in the House of Representatives.
Leko Jafaru Gambo holds a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE). Before entering the National Assembly, he was involved in political and community activities in Bauchi State, developing a reputation for grassroots engagement.
He contested the 2023 House of Representatives election on the platform of the APC and won the Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa Balewa seat, succeeding former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara. His election was subsequently upheld by the Court of Appeal.
As a member of the 10th National Assembly, Gambo has participated in legislative activities and constituency representation, focusing on issues affecting the people of Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa Balewa. He has also been involved in community-oriented initiatives, including educational support and empowerment programmes.
Gambo has continued to maintain a strong presence within Bauchi State politics and the APC. His political activities are centred on grassroots representation, community development and participation in the legislative process.
For the 2027 general election, Leko Jafaru Gambo is listed as the APC candidate for Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa Balewa Federal Constituency, seeking another term in the House of Representatives.
