Jallo Hussaini Mohammed is a Nigerian politician and lawyer from Kaduna State. He was born on 27 August 1964 and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Honours) degree. His professional background in law has provided him with experience relevant to public service and legislative work.
Hussaini Mohammed entered elective politics and contested for the Igabi Federal Constituency seat in Kaduna State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In the 2023 general election, he won the election and became a member of the House of Representatives in the 10th National Assembly.
As a federal lawmaker, he represents the people of Igabi Federal Constituency and has participated in legislative proceedings and activities of the House. His responsibilities include contributing to debates, considering legislation and representing constituency interests at the federal level.
In March 2025, Jallo Hussaini Mohammed left the PDP and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), becoming one of the House of Representatives members from the opposition party to defect to the APC. His defection marked a change in his political affiliation while he continued serving as the representative for Igabi.
Ahead of the 2027 general elections, Mohammed contested the APC primary for Igabi Federal Constituency. In May 2026, he secured the APC ticket after winning the party's primary with 1,171 votes, positioning him as the party's candidate for the constituency.
Jallo Hussaini Mohammed's political career combines his background in law with legislative representation. Through his role in the National Assembly and his continued participation in Kaduna State politics, he remains involved in issues concerning the development and representation of the people of Igabi Federal Constituency.
