Biography of Hamza Ibrahim

Hamza Ibrahim is a Nigerian politician from Kaduna State and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He is associated with Soba Federal Constituency in Kaduna State and has built his political career through public service, grassroots engagement and legislative representation.

Born in 1974, Hamza Ibrahim holds a First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC), Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) and a postgraduate degree. Before entering elective politics, he was involved in public service and political activities in Kaduna State, where he developed experience in government administration and community affairs.

Ibrahim served as Commissioner for Water Resources in Kaduna State before seeking elective office. His tenure in the state government gave him experience in public administration and issues relating to water resources and infrastructure development.

In the 2019 general election, Hamza Ibrahim contested the Soba Federal Constituency seat on the platform of the APC and won the election. He subsequently served as a member of the House of Representatives in the 9th National Assembly, representing Soba Federal Constituency.

After his time in the National Assembly, Ibrahim remained active in Kaduna politics and continued his involvement with the APC. In the 2026 APC primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections, he secured the party's ticket to contest the Soba Federal Constituency seat once again.

His political activities have focused on grassroots representation, community development and public infrastructure. With his previous experience as a state commissioner and federal legislator, Hamza Ibrahim continues to maintain a presence in Kaduna State politics and seeks to return to the House of Representatives to represent the people of Soba Federal Constituency.
