Osun | House of representatives
Hon. Francis Moyosore Oluwadamilare Eniade, commonly referred to as Francis Damilare Eniade, is a Nigerian entrepreneur, philanthropist, community organiser and politician from Osun State. He is from Osogbo and has become active in the political and community affairs of the Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency, commonly referred to as the IBO Federal Constituency. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and is the party's candidate for the constituency in the 2027 House of Representatives election.
Eniade began his education at St. Clare's Nursery and Primary School in Osogbo before proceeding to secondary education in the city. According to a profile published about his background, he later attended the Nigerian Institute of Oceanography and Marine Research in Lagos and subsequently undertook training abroad. He returned to Nigeria in 2015 and went into business, developing interests in areas including automobiles and hospitality. His business activities have contributed to his public profile in Osogbo and the wider Osun political environment.
Beyond his business activities, Eniade has been involved in philanthropy and community development. In 2022, he established the Eniade Foundation, through which he has supported people in the IBO Federal Constituency. Programmes associated with the foundation have included food distribution, support for widows, educational assistance, youth empowerment, small-business support and other forms of community assistance. Reports on the foundation's activities have described interventions reaching residents across the three local government areas that make up the constituency.
His community activities have also extended to educational and social-support programmes. These have included back-to-school initiatives, assistance to students, distribution of household and business equipment to beneficiaries, and support for vulnerable residents. In addition to his humanitarian activities, Eniade has been involved in grassroots political mobilisation within the APC, particularly among young people in Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin.
Eniade became more directly involved in electoral politics ahead of the 2023 general election and subsequently intensified his political activities within the APC. In May 2026, he obtained the APC nomination and expression-of-interest forms to contest the IBO Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 House of Representatives election. During the screening process, he presented his grassroots political activities and community engagement as part of his background for seeking the position.
In May 2026, Eniade emerged as the APC candidate for the Boripe/Ifelodun/Odo-Otin Federal Constituency following the party's National Assembly primary elections in Osun State. The APC's published candidate platform also lists him for the Odo-Otin/Ifelodun/Boripe constituency, while the final 2027 candidate list records him under the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), indicating that the party affiliation appearing on later election records differs from his earlier APC candidacy.
As the 2027 election approaches, Eniade has continued his constituency engagements and political activities. His stated areas of focus include youth employment, education, infrastructure, agricultural development, healthcare and stronger grassroots representation. He has also called for unity among party members following the APC primary and has continued to present himself as a candidate focused on community development and inclusive representation for the people of Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin.
