He represents the Akoko North-East/Akoko North-West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He entered the National Assembly through the February 2024 by-election held after the appointment of the constituency's former representative, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, as Minister of Interior.

Ehindero was born on 17 September 1985 in Ile-Ife, Osun State, into the family of Professor and Mrs. Ehindero. His father, Sunday Ehindero, served as Inspector-General of Police between 2005 and 2007. He began his education at the Obafemi Awolowo University Staff School and later attended Moremi High School within the university community. He subsequently studied Psychology at Obafemi Awolowo University, graduating after completing his undergraduate studies.

After his university education, Ehindero completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the headquarters of the Nigerian Customs Service in Abuja, where he worked in the Export Expansion Grant Unit. He later pursued professional development through the Institute of Strategic Management Nigeria, where he became a Fellow. He also obtained a master's degree in Educational Administration and Planning and completed an executive education programme in politics and political economy at the London School of Economics.

Before entering elective politics, Ehindero developed experience in entrepreneurship and project management. In 2011, he established a franchise business and subsequently expanded into the telecommunications sector. He has also worked as a project manager on initiatives connected with construction, healthcare, education, poverty alleviation and science and technology. His professional background therefore spans business management, project coordination and public-oriented development activities.

Ehindero entered federal electoral politics in 2024, when he emerged as the APC candidate for the Akoko North-East/Akoko North-West by-election. He won the election held on 3 February 2024, polling 35,504 votes against the PDP candidate's 15,328 votes. He subsequently took his seat in the 10th House of Representatives and became one of the newer members of the National Assembly.

Within the House of Representatives, Ehindero serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Students Loans, Scholarships and Higher Education Financing. His legislative activities have included work on issues concerning access to higher education and the administration of student financing. He has also supported a bill proposing the establishment of a Federal College of Education in his constituency.

His constituency activities have included interventions in education, healthcare, employment, skills development and social support. Reported initiatives associated with his representation include classroom construction, medical equipment for health facilities, solar-powered boreholes and streetlights, as well as vocational and empowerment programmes for youths and women. He has also been involved in scholarship and educational-support initiatives for students within the constituency.

For the 2027 general election, Ehindero is listed as the APC candidate for the Akoko North-East/Akoko North-West Federal Constituency. His political career has therefore developed from entrepreneurship and project management into federal legislative service, with his current public responsibilities focused on education financing, constituency development and representation of the people of Akoko North-East and Akoko North-West.
