Biography of Senator Cyril Oluwole Fasuyi

Senator Cyril Oluwole Fasuyi is a Nigerian politician, businessman, and public servant who represents Ekiti North Senatorial District in the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and has become an important political figure in Ekiti State through his involvement in legislative affairs, community development, and public service.

Senator Fasuyi is from Ido-Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State. Before entering the Senate, he built a career in the private sector and became involved in community and political activities. His experience in business and grassroots engagement provided a foundation for his later involvement in public service and politics.

His political activities became particularly prominent within the All Progressives Congress, where he became involved in party organization and political mobilization in Ekiti State. He won the party's primary with 14,179 votes, defeating former Senator Ayo Arise and other aspirants. His emergence means he will seek another term representing Ekiti North in the Senate.

In March 2026, Fasuyi was also appointed Director-General of Governor Biodun Oyebanji's 2026 re-election campaign council, having previously served in a similar role during the governor's successful 2022 campaign. The appointment reflected the confidence placed in his organizational and political leadership within the state.
