Hon. Akinola Adekunle Alabi, popularly known as Akin Alabi, is a Nigerian politician, entrepreneur, and author serving in the 10th House of Representatives for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Oyo State under the APC.
Born in 1977 in Ibadan, he holds degrees in Politics, Business Administration, and Marketing, with additional studies in International Relations and Intellectual Property Strategy. He founded NairaBET, Nigeria’s first online sports betting platform, and owns Lekki United F.C., and is also an author of business books.
First elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023, he currently chairs the House Committee on Works and previously chaired the Committee on Inter-Governmental Affairs. He holds the chieftaincy titles of Mogaji of Ajiwogbo and Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland, and has received awards including Federal Legislator of the Year (2020) and Global Leader of Integrity (2014).
