Afolabi Moruf Afuape, popularly known as AFOO, is a Nigerian academic, economist, and politician serving in the 10th House of Representatives for Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, Ogun State, under the APC.
Born in 1967 in Abeokuta, he holds degrees in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, and Economics from the University of Lagos. He previously lectured at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, where he rose to Head of the Department of Marketing and authored academic texts on finance and management.
He served as Ogun State Commissioner for Youth and Sports and later for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. In the 10th Assembly, he is Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility.
He is known for advocating pension reform and supporting small businesses and artisans through empowerment programs.
