Bala Sani Umar (also known as Sani Umar Bala), born January 16, 1970, is a Nigerian engineer and politician representing Tsanyawa/Kunchi in the House of Representatives under the APC. He holds multiple qualifications, including B.Eng., PGD, MBA, and PhD, and is known professionally as Engr. Sani Bala.
He has served multiple terms in the National Assembly, spanning the 8th, 9th, and 10th Assemblies, and currently chairs the House Committee on Public Service Matters. His legislative focus includes public service reform, security, and infrastructure development. He is also noted for supporting education and healthcare initiatives in his constituency.
