Abdullahi Audu Sule (born 26 December 1959) is a Nigerian engineer, businessman, and politician, serving as the Governor of Nasarawa State since 29 May 2019 under the All Progressives Congress (APC). Born in Gudi Station into a royal family, he received his early education in Nasarawa and Plateau States before studying in the United States, where he earned B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Indiana State University.
Sule built a strong career in engineering, manufacturing, and the oil and gas sector, serving in roles at Jos Steel Rolling Mill, co-founding Sadiq Petroleum Nigeria Limited, leading African Petroleum (AP) Plc as CEO, and later becoming Group Managing Director of Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc in 2018.
He entered politics in 2018, won the Nasarawa governorship election in 2019, and was re-elected in 2023. As governor, he is known for a technocratic and development-focused leadership style, prioritizing infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, industrialisation, and investment promotion. He is married, practices Islam, and has received recognition for his contributions to education in the state.
