Biography of Senator Babangida Hussaini

Senator Babangida Hussaini is a Nigerian politician, businessman, and public administrator who represents Jigawa North-West Senatorial District in the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), he is widely recognized for his years of legislative experience, commitment to grassroots development, and contributions to national policymaking through the National Assembly.

Born on 3 December 1958 in Kazaure, Jigawa State, Senator Hussaini received his early education in northern Nigeria before pursuing higher education. He attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Political Science. His academic background provided a solid foundation for his career in public administration, governance, and legislative service.

Before entering elective politics, Babangida Hussaini built a successful career in business and public service. He was subsequently re-elected in the 2023 general elections and sworn in as a member of the 10th National Assembly on 13 June 2023.

As a senator, Babangida Hussaini has played an active role in legislative activities, policy formulation, and oversight responsibilities.
