Biography of Adekunle Adegoke

Adekunle Adegoke, SAN is a Nigerian lawyer, businessman, politician, and public affairs commentator from Osun State. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and is known for his legal practice, involvement in election-related matters, business activities, and political engagement in Osun State.

Adegoke studied Law at the University of Lagos, where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and later a Master of Laws (LL.M.). He was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar and developed a career in legal practice.

He is the Principal Partner of Kunle Adegoke & Co., a law firm involved in litigation, corporate matters, election petitions, and other areas of legal practice. Over the course of his career, he has handled numerous legal matters and has developed particular experience in electoral law, constitutional matters, commercial law, and public-sector disputes.

Adegoke was appointed a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 2020, one of the highest professional distinctions in the Nigerian legal profession. His legal career has also involved representing private individuals, corporate organisations, and government institutions.

During the 2026 APC senatorial primary, Adegoke emerged as the party's candidate for Osun Central Senatorial District. He defeated the incumbent senator, Olubiyi Fadeyi, polling 26,655 votes against Fadeyi's 13,138 votes.

His emergence as the APC's senatorial candidate positioned him to contest for representation of Osun Central in the 2027 general elections. His political agenda has included issues relating to good governance, economic development, education, infrastructure, youth empowerment, security, and community development.

Adegoke has also developed a reputation as a public commentator and writer, contributing to discussions on law, politics, governance, and Nigeria's democratic development.
