Abdulkadir Tijjani Jobe is a Nigerian politician and legislator from Kano State. He was born on 2 January 1970 and is from the Dawakin Tofa area of Kano State. He has built his public career around political representation and legislative service, particularly within the Dawakin Tofa, Tofa and Rimin Gado Federal Constituency. He holds a National Diploma and has remained active in Kano politics for many years.
Jobe began his formal education at the basic and secondary levels, obtaining his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Examination Council qualification before proceeding to obtain a National Diploma. His educational background provided the foundation for his later involvement in public affairs and politics.
His political career spans several election cycles and reflects considerable experience in federal legislative politics. Jobe first became a member of the House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), representing the Dawakin Tofa/Tofa/Rimin Gado Federal Constituency. The Independent National Electoral Commission's records list him as the elected representative for the constituency in the 2019 general election.
Jobe subsequently joined the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), under which he continued his political career and secured another mandate to represent the constituency in the 2023 general election. He is currently a member of the 10th National Assembly and is described as a fourth-term member of the House of Representatives. His legislative experience has therefore extended across multiple assemblies and political platforms.
As a federal legislator, Jobe has focused his political activities on representation and constituency development. His stated legislative agenda has included a commitment to serving the people of Kano State, supporting empowerment initiatives and contributing to development within his constituency. His long tenure in the House has also given him experience in federal legislative processes and constituency representation.
For the 2027 general election, Abdulkadir Tijjani Jobe is listed as the APC candidate for the Dawakin Tofa/Tofa/Rimin Gado Federal Constituency in Kano State. His return to the APC marks another phase in a political career that has seen him contest and serve under different political platforms. Recent reporting on Kano's 2027 APC selection process also identified Jobe as a serving lawmaker whose candidacy was part of the discussions surrounding the party's consensus arrangements.
Abdulkadir Tijjani Jobe remains a prominent political figure in the Dawakin Tofa, Tofa and Rimin Gado constituency. With several terms of experience in the House of Representatives, his political profile is closely associated with federal legislative representation and Kano State politics. His candidacy for the 2027 election places him once again at the centre of political activities in his constituency as he seeks another mandate under the APC platform.
