Biography of Abdulganiyu Olododo Abdulquawiy Damilola

Abdulganiyu Olododo Abdulquawiy Damilola is a Nigerian politician, agribusiness professional and public administrator from Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State. He has built a career around agriculture, social investment, public administration and political service, and is associated with the Ilorin East/Ilorin South Federal Constituency.

Olododo received his education at Kwara State University and the Metropolitan School of Business and Management in the United Kingdom. His academic and professional background has supported his work in agribusiness, social investment and government administration.

Before joining the state cabinet, Olododo served as Technical Assistant to the Governor of Kwara State on Agriculture. In that role, he was involved in matters relating to agricultural development and government programmes designed to support the state's agricultural sector.

He subsequently served as General Manager of the Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP). The programme focuses on social protection and economic empowerment initiatives, including support for vulnerable households, young people and small businesses. His experience in this position strengthened his background in managing social investment and development programmes.

In 2023, Olododo was appointed to the Kwara State Executive Council by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. He initially served as Commissioner with responsibilities connected to government development programmes and later became Commissioner for Works. In the Works Ministry, he has been involved in the state's infrastructure agenda, including roads, bridges, public buildings and other development projects.

As Commissioner for Works, Olododo has spoken about the importance of infrastructure in attracting private investment and improving economic activity across Kwara State. His responsibilities have included working with relevant government agencies and contractors on infrastructure delivery and maintenance.
