Hon. Abdul Abdulhamid Minjibir is a Nigerian politician from Kano State and a member of the Kano State House of Assembly. He represents the Minjibir State Constituency in the state legislature and has built his political career around grassroots representation and public service.
Abdul Abdulhamid Minjibir has an educational background that includes primary and secondary education, as well as further studies leading to a Postgraduate Diploma. His educational and professional background provided a foundation for his involvement in public affairs and political activities in Kano State.
Minjibir's political career dates back several years, with his involvement in the Kano State House of Assembly predating his current tenure. He previously represented Minjibir Constituency in the 7th Kano State House of Assembly, serving from 2011 to 2015. His earlier legislative experience gave him familiarity with lawmaking, constituency representation and the workings of the state legislature.
In the 2023 elections, Abdul Abdulhamid Minjibir returned to the Kano State House of Assembly after winning the Minjibir State Constituency seat on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP). He subsequently became associated with the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the current legislative period.
As a member of the state legislature, Minjibir participates in debates, lawmaking, committee activities and oversight functions. His responsibilities also include representing the interests and concerns of residents of Minjibir and communicating constituency issues within the state government.
With experience spanning more than one legislative period, Abdul Abdulhamid Minjibir has established himself as a grassroots politician with a long-standing connection to Minjibir Local Government Area. His political career continues to centre on legislative representation, community interests and participation in the political affairs of Kano State.
